Google has published the latest Android Distribution stats, for the week ending on October 7th.
And Lollipop’s usage share has risen by 2.5% up from the 21% it had a month ago.
The Android 5.0 and 5.1 versions combined boast a usage of 23.5%, but is still only at third place behind the leader KitKat which has 38.9%, and second place holder Jelly Bean which holds 30.2%.
Ice Cream Sandwich and Gingerbread both dropped by 0.3% ad now sit at 3.8% and 3.4% respectively, while Froyo somehow managed to hold on to its 0.2%, and is on the verge of being dropped from the lest once it comes down to 0.1%.
Google’s latest operating system, Marshmallow is yet to make its debut in the Distribution Stats, but that’s understandable as the Android 6.0 version only made its debut a week ago.
