LG is rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for the LG G3 in Canada.
The new firmware is already being seeded out to the 2014 flagship phone.
The Marshmallow update adds new features from Google’s latest OS, including Doze, Now on Tap, Permissions management and more. All Canadian carriers will be rolling out the update over the air and this includes the likes of Bell, Rogers, Fido, MTS, Virgin, SaskTel, Telus, Koodo and Videotron (according to MobileSyrup).
The OTA update weighs about 777 MB, as seen in the screenshot courtesy, a redditor. IT is worth noting that some users have reported issues with updating the phone. Apparently the download is stuck at 17% for many.
Interestingly AT&T. T-Mobile and other US based carriers are yet to roll out the Android 6.0 Update.
