The Android Pie Update for ROG Phone has been released. Better late than never I suppose.
Here’s what’s new in the firmware besides the OS version being upgraded.

The update removes some features and apps such as the Page Marker, ZeniMoji, Report Location in Safeguard, weather animation setting, AI charging, and the Yandex cloud option in the File Manager app.
The Android Pie Update for ROG Phone adds a few new options in the Settings including Adaptive brightness, Adaptive Battery, New notifications, Status bar icon manager, Screen recorder, and Local backup. You can now swipe up on the Home button to use gesture navigation. Android Pie’s volume control panel is now available in the latest firmware.
Game Genie and Game Center have been redesigned, and the latter has been upgraded to Armoury Crate. The Weather app now supports 24-hour forecast. The Mobile Manager, Contacts, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, and Weather apps have been revamped as well.
The version number of the Android Pie Update for ROG Phone is 16.0410.1910.91, and is available for the ZS600KL model. The full firmware update hasn’t been posted on the official website yet, and is only being seeded via OTA. You can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings > System > System updates. Ironically, the Pie update arrives a day after ASUS released Android 10 for the Zenfone 5Z.
