Rovio have released a role playing game called Angry Birds Epic.
Yes we hear you loud and clear. Yet another Angry Birds Game.
Let us take a look at what the game has to offer.
Note: The game downloads additional data files on the first run.
Angry Birds Epic starts with an intro video, which shows King Pig craving for eggs. The piggies including Wiz Pig, sneakily steal the eggs from the sleeping birds, and make a run for it. The birds put up a fight and the game begins.
The game plays in typical Angry Birds style, you have to drag your bird to attack the pigs. But instead of a slingshot movement,, you have to drag the bird onto a pig to attack. The combat is turn based, so wait for the enemy to attack you. If there are more than one enemies, they will all attack you once every turn. I didn’t get very far enough to recruit a bird, but I assume that that all the birds on the battlefield, will be able to attack the pigs once every turn.
You need to have least one bird surviving the battle to win it. You get to spin the wheel after every successful battle, which rewards you with various in game items.
There are daily challenges in the game as well, in the form a Golden Pig, which you have to battle on the Golden Cloud level. Do so for bonus loot. Completing the daily rewards successively will result in better rewards.
The game also lets you level up your characters, and equip them with armor, weapons, and also allows you to craft items. You can use potions during battles as well.

Rovio have filled the game with IAPs (as usual) that may often scream in your face. As if that wasn’t annoying, the game requires an internet connection to play. Ignore these drawbacks, and you could enjoy the game
