Rovio have announced that the popular facebook game will arrive on movile devices this Thursday.
This will be the sixth Angry Birds game on Android.Angry Birds Friends is similar to the other games in the franchise, but focussing more on social aspects and has IAPs. The Facebook game allows players to invite friends to play, gift Power-ups to friends, allows Bird Avatars,etc
I expect that the game will require social login to play, AKA Facebook. Speaking of which you can play the Facebook version at apps.facebook.com/angrybirds/
Whether this is a move by Facebook to promote their Social network is unknown, but lately they have been doing just that with the release of their launcher, Facebook Home. And now news circling aroundthe internet, that several users seem to be abandoning the network, this could be a desperate move.
