After few months of private beta testing, Apple music is finally available for Android and you can grab it from Google Playstore. Just sometime back, we reported the leak of Apple music beta screenshots and expected it to be launched soon. The app is free to download but you need a subscription to use it. Initially, new users can use the 3 months trial just like the iOS users, before the actual subscription fee of $9.99 per month applies.
Even though it is now available in Play Store, Apple is still keeping the Beta tag with the App which means that it is still in beta phase and not the final build. Using the app, you can stream music, can access iTunes and listen to Beats 1 radio too.
To start using it, you need to sign-up for trial using “Apple ID”. In case you don’t have an “Apple ID”, then you need to create one for signing up.For Indian users though, the subscription fee stands at Rs. 120 per month which is ~$2 a month (the same price is available for iOS users too in India).

Now Android users have an additional option when it comes to music on their smartphones, along with Google Play Music or Spotify (not available in India though).
