ASUS has introduced the ASUZ 8Z in India. The flagship phone is a rebranded version of the Zenfone 8 that was launched nearly a year ago.
The handset sports a 5.92-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display that has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 120Hz Refresh Rate, 800 nits brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, supports 112% wide color gamut of the DCI-P3, 105% NTSC color gamut, 151.9% sRGB color gamut, HDR 10 and HDR10+, and has an In-Display Fingerprint scanner.
The ASUS 8Z runs on Android 11 with ZenUI 8, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G octa-core processor with an Adreno 660 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery, that supports 30W fast charging, PD 3.0 over a USB Type-C port.
The selfie lens on the phone is a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor. The rear camera array consists of dual lenses with a 64MP Sony IMX 686, f/1.8 aperture lens, with a 78.3° wide angle FOV, Electronic Image Stabilization, a 12MP Sony IMX 363 ultra wide angle lens, with an f/2.2 aperture and Dual LED Flash.
