ASUS has officially launched the Fonepad 8 Tablet with Voice Calling in India.
The tablet was announced at Computex 2014, which was held in Taipei, in June last year.
It is Dual SIM tablet which supports voice calling, as well as 3G networks. The tablet features an 8 inch display, which supports a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with ZenUI. The device is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3530 Quad-core processor clocked at 1.33GHz, and 2 GB of RAM. It has 16 Gb of internal storage, with an expandable option available via microSD card slot which supports upto 64GB.
The Fonepad 8 has a 72.2 percent screen to body ratio, with a slim 5.06 mm bezel, and weighs 328 grams. It sports a 5 megapixel rear camera, a 2 megapixel front camera, and packs a 4,000 mAh battery.
