ASUS has just launched a mid ranged smartphone called the Pegasus X002.
Apparently, ASUS was named after the winged horse from Greek mythology, the Pegasus.
So, the company is honoring it by naming their latest smartphone the ASUS Pegasus X002. Let’s take a look at what the phone has to offer.
The Pegasus X002 sports a 5″ HD Display, and is powered by a 64-bit MT6732 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, and 2 Gigabytes of RAM. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with Zen UI, out of the box.
The phone comes with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64 GB via a microSD card slot. It has a 5 MP front camera, and an 8 MP rear camera with an ultra-picture quality mode, which can form an ultra-high resolution 30MP image, by synthesizing a number of pictures together
The Pegasus is a Dual SIM phone which supports 4G TD-LTE / TD- CDMA, WCDMA and GSM networks and also has dual standby. The phone packs a 2500 mAh battery.

The ASUS Pegasus X002 has been launched in China and has been priced at 799 Yuan, which is approximately $130 or INR 8,000. The company has not revealed any plans for a global release yet.
