ASUS is set to unveil its flagship gaming phone next month. But benchmark site DxOMark has posted a review of the audio hardware of the phone, which in turn revealed the Asus ROG Phone 5 specs and some images. Here’s what we could gather from it.
DxoMark states that the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor. This has already been confirmed by the OEM. But, the leaked ASUS ROG Phone 5 specs sheet tells us some interesting information about the audio capability of the phone.
It appears that the device has a 3.5mm headphone jack with an ESS DAC, the phone has dual speakers on the front. In addition to this, it supports Dirac tuning for frequency response correction and virtual bass.
If you look at the image closely, you can see one speaker at the top and one at the bottom. The red button on the side appears to be a trigger key, but we wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out.
The image posted with the ASUS ROG Phone 5 specs list confirms that the device has a secondary display on the back panel, which looks like it is used for notifications. The successor to the ROG Phone 3, has triple cameras arranged horizontally with an LED Flash next to it. There is a selfie camera housed in the top bezel of the front panel.
