ASUS has announced that they have sold 40,000 units of the Zenfone series in just 4 days, after their debut in India.
The ASUS Zenfone series were launched on July 9th, exclusively on Flipkart (& some offline channels), and has been sold in over 300 cities in the Country.
Mr. Peter Chang, the Regional Head – South Asia & Country Manager for ASUS India said that, the Company is overwhelmed with the response received within just 4 days of the launch. He also said hat he expects a similar response from Indian tech lovers in the near future.
This could be a strong hint towards the launch of the ASUS Android Wear Smartwatch, which is expected to be priced at about $99-149. (about Rs, 6000 -9,000).
