ASUS has just launched its Zenfone 2 Laser smartphone in India at a price starting at Rs. 9,999. Zenfone 2 Laser comes in three variants with different CPU / RAM capacities. The other two variants are priced at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 17,999.
Zenfone 2 Laser sports a 5.5-inch HD display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with Corning gorilla glass 4 protection. It is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU / Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC with Adreno 405 GPU along with 2GB / 3GB RAM.
It comes with 16GB internal storage along with support for expandable memory up to 128 GB via microSD cards. In terms of operating system, it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with ASUS own Zen UI 2.0.
The device supports Dual SIM and 4G LTE.
In terms of camera, it sports a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash, Laser Auto Focus and 5 MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
It weighs ~180 gm which makes it a bit heavier than usual phone which weigh in the range of 150 gms. The device is powered by a 3000 mAh battery.
