We could be seeing the next gen flagship from Taiwanese manufacturer, ASUS, next month.
According to a tweet by ASUS India, the Zenfone 3 could be launched on May 30th.
ASUS is perhaps one of the few OEMs, which are yet to debut a 2016 flagship device. The company was the first to introduce 4GB RAM in a smartphone last year, with the ASUS Zenfone 2.
This year, we have seen almost every major company, include a fingerprint scanner in their flagship phones, and some with USB Type C ports. So perhaps we could expect the same from ASUS too. It will be interesting to see what kind of chipset the ASUS Zenfone 3 will be powered by, personally we are hoping to see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC onboard, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the company opts for Intel like it has in its phones over the last two years.
