An ASUS Zenfone 6 hands-on video has been leaked on YouTube. And this is what the phone looks like.
The device appears to be identical to the concept renders which were leaked a month ago by Evan Blass. The overall design of the device, right down to the wallpaper, matches the previous leak perfectly, except it appears to be the real deal.
ASUS Zenfone 6 hands-on video – our take on what it could be
Here’s what we can gather from the ASUS Zenfone 6 hands-on video which was leaked by SupraPixel.
The Zenfone 6 has a notch-less and nearly bezel-less design. Instead of a pop-up camera it employs a slider mechanism. Actually, it’s a dual slider. Sliding the screen downwards brings the selfie camera in focus. An upwards slide brings a camera control panel which includes zoom and shutter buttons, for the rear cameras of course.
Speaking of which the dual rear cameras are accompanied by an LED flash module, and a fingerprint scanner. On the bottom of the device are dual speakers, and a USB Type-C port. In case you found the video a bit blurry, here are some high quality renders, courtesy Evleaks.
With all that said, we don’t think this will be the regular Zenfone 6. That’s because the official teaser from ASUS, which we reported about yesterday, shows a different phone that included a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, and a smart key on the back, neither of which were seen in the video. That’s why we think that the device pictured in the video, could be the Zenfone 6 5G variant, and not the regular one.

The ASUS Zenfone 6 will be announced on May 16th, so we only have to wait a week to see what the company can deliver.
