ASUS is rolling out an update to its Zenfone 6 smartphones and it must be available to most of the users via OTA update now. The new firmware update for ASUS Zenfone 6 brings better voice call quality, Camera improvements and much more along with the usual bug fixes. Keep in mind that this update doesn’t bring any Android OS update on Zenfone 6 from existing Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to Android 4.4 Kitkat. We still need to wait sometime for that.
As seen from the screenshot reproduced below, a notification should be appearing now which tells you that a system update is available for the device. Just click on that notification, then download the update over Wifi and follow the instructions to install that firmware update. The update is approximately 48 MB in size, so make sure you download it on a WiFi connection instead of cellular one.
