ASUS has released a new firmware for its Zenfone Lite, which was launched a few weeks ago. The Zenfone Lite L1 OTA Update brings the October Security Patch from Google’s Android Security Bulletin, to the entry level device.
According to the press note which we received from the company, the version number of the latest firmware is WW_Phone-15.07.1810.18-20181019.
ASUS says it has also optimized the stability of the system, but there were no other details regarding what issues were fixed. It’s certainly nice to see the company focusing on bug fixes and updating its devices so quickly, especially at this price range.

The Zenfone Lite L1 will be available for purchase at Rs. 5,499 during Flipkart’s Big Diwali Sale, after which it will get a permanent price increase to Rs. 6,999.
