Asus has just announced availability of Zenfone Max on online e-commerce portals such as Amazon and flipkart along with all leading retail stores and ASUS Exclusive Stores for a price of Rs. 9,999. This also marks Asus foray into Offline Retail for the first time in India. The device was launched in India just a week back, even though global announcement happened few months back i.e August 2015 .
Zenfone Max boasts of a massive 5000 mAh battery and hence targeted towards those users for whom battery life is the first priority while making the decision to buy a new smartphone.
Apart from the big battery, it comes with 5.5-inch HD display with Corning gorilla glass 4 protection and powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor & Adreno 306 GPU with 2 GB RAM.
In terms of storage, it comes with 16 GB internal storage along with support for expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD cards. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with ASUS Zen UI 2.0 on top of it.
It supports Dual SIM and 4G LTE.
In terms of camera, it comes with 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash, Laser Auto Focus and 5 MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
