We reported yesterday that ASUS ZenFone Zoom with 3X optical Zoom will be hitting India this month and now we have the confirmation. ASUS has just sent us press invites which confirms that ASUS ZenFone Zoom is going to be launched on 22nd Jan in India.
Zenfone Zoom is powered by an Intel Atom quad-core processor (Z3950, up to 2.5 GHz), a PowerVR G6430 GPU, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, microSD expansion of up to 128 GB, a 5.5-inch 1080p display with corning Gorilla glass 4 and 3,000 mAh fixed battery. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with ASUS own ZenUI on top of it.
ZenFone Zoom comes with 10-element HOYA lens arrangement and up to 12x total magnification along with optical image stabilization (OIS), dual-LED Real Tone flash and 0.03 seconds laser auto-focus. The camera’s aperture ranges from f/2.7 to f/4.8. Apart from the main camera, there is a 5 MP camera for selfies.
