ASUS has begun selling its latest wearable, the Zenwatch 2 at the Google Store.
The Android Wear powered watch was launched in June, at Computex 2015.
The ASUS Zenwatch 2 comes in two models:
W1501Q: Gunmetal, Navy Blue leather strap, 49mm
W1502Q: Silver, Light Aqua rubber strap, 45mm
Both watches have an AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The bigger watch supports a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and a pixel density of 278 ppi. The smaller watch supports a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels and a pixel density of 273 ppi.
The ASUS Zenwatch 2 runs on Android Wear and is powered by a Qualcomm APQ 8026 processor with 512MB RAM, and 4GB of internal storage
The bigger watch has a 400 mAh battery while the smaller one has a 300 mAh battery. The Zenwatch 2 comes with a microphone, supports Bluetooth 4.1, and Wi-Fi. It comes with a 6 Axis sensor (gyrometer and accelerometer). The watch is IP67 certified for being dust and water resistant. The larger watch has a 22mm leather strap while the smaller one has an 18mm rubber strap.
The ASUS Zenwatch 2 is now available at the Google Store for $149 in the U.S. It is currently not available in India.
