A new upcoming smartphone from ASUS has just passed Chinese certification portal TENAA revealing all the technical specifications, design & build of the device along with its images. The listing indicates that of the device ASUS X00GD sports a 5.2 inch 720p HD display, powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core processor along with three variants of RAM i.e. 2 GB, 3 GB & 4 GB. It comes with three variants of internal storage i.e. 16 GB, 32 GB & 64 GB along with support for expandable storage via microsd card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nogat based operating system with Asus ZenUI on top of it.
If you look at the design & build of the device, you will find a front home button just like many devices from other brands such as Samsung. Asus has never used a front home button on any of it’s earlier smartphones which indicate that this may be one of the next generation Zenfones i.e. Zenfone 4. The front home button may have integrated fingerprint sensor too, as we can’t find the fingerprint sensor at the back. The camera at the back is visible at top along with LED flash.
In terms of camera, it comes with a 13 MP main rear camera along with dual tone flash and a 8 MP front shooter for selfies. In terms of dimensions, it measures 149.5 × 73.7 × 8.85(mm) and weighs 169.5 grams. It is backed by a 4850 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE along with VOLTE. It will be available in Luxurious gold, rose gold and black color options.
