Noodlecake Studios are back with another game for Android devices, and no it is not Super Stickman Golf 3, at least not yet. The new game is a gravity defying platformer developed by one man developer, PixelZapp, and is called Caterzillar.
The protagonist of the game is a caterpillar called Bob. You must help him in rescuing his precious princess, from evil bugs. The game has superb hand drawn graphics, and a complementing soundtrack.
You can move Bob around using the onscreen keys across the levels, and the gameplay is what makes Caterzillar unique. The levels consist of various planets, each with its own gravitational orientation. Bob can jump from planet to planet and crawl upside down too. Each planet has some fruit on its surface and some stars too. Eating fruits makes Bob;s body longer. In addition to completing a level, you can collect all the fruits, and stars for a high score.
The game does have some bugs, not software bugs mind you, but evil bugs which hurt Bob. But he can jump on them to defeat them. There are some epic boss fights as well. The game spans 4 worlds with 32 levels, each with its own mechanic and objectives. Remember, you can save your progress at checkpoints.
