The official ChatGPT app for iOS is now available in India. Open AI launched the AI chatbot app in the US about 10 days ago, before expanding it to 11 Countries including: France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Korea and the U.K.

TechCrunch reports that the app is now available in 32 Countries including India. ChatGPT for iOS is now available in Algeria, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Estonia, Ghana, India, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Namibia, Nauru, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Qatar, Slovenia, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates.
The mobile experience is fairly similar to the desktop experience. You will need an Open AI account, which is free to create, but does require a valid phone number. Once you have set it up, you may use the chatbot app to get instant answers to your questions, ask it to write code, poems, letters, or for other creative purposes. It is worth noting that ChatGPT’s database is outdated as it uses information from 2021, i.e. it has not been trained with modern data including current events and other things that Microsoft’s Bing A.I. is capable of.
The official ChatGPT app for iOS makes use of the haptic feedback on iPhone when you input your queries and when it provides the answers.
ChatGPT Plus subscription
Download ChatGPT for iOS from the App Store. The app does not contain ads, and is free to use. It has an optional in-app purchase for ChatGPT Plus. The subscription costs Rs. 1,999 per month in India, and $19.99 in the U.S.
ChatGPT for iOS battery draining issues
I have been using ChatGPT on my iPhone 13 since it debuted it the U.S, and can definitely notice an overheating problem with it. This issue in turn causes the battery to drain on the phone.
