OnePlus users will need to wait for a bit longer for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the One.
Earlier this month, the company had promised to share more about OxygenOS on February 12th.
And instead of providing information about the features of the OS, or a public version of the ROM, they introduced the OxygenOS team on said date, to the disappointment of the users.
A user questioned Carl Pei, the co-founder of One Plus, about the Lollipop update still not being available for the One. This what Pei said,”We released an L alpha a while ago, but a more stable build (OxygenOS & CM12S) will need to wait until March. Sorry for delay!”
Another user requested Pei for a more specific ETA, as to when the update will be available in March, to which Pei replied saying “Mid to Late” (March).
He also explained that proprietary drivers, code, QA, certifications were the reasons for the delay in rolling out the update.
