Oppo has announced a ColorOS 6 trial version which brings the Android 10 update for OPPO Reno. The update is rolling out in India.
The company says that the trial version will only be available for limited users. The wording is a bit vague, but as far as what we can tell, it appears to be some sort of early access beta program. We have seen a similar announcement for other phones from the company in the past.
Unfortunately there are no further details about what’s new in the Android 10 update for OPPO Reno yet. If you have the Reno and want to test the new OS, you can navigate to Settings > Software Updates > Setting > Trial Version to see if the update is available for you.
Apart from the Android 10 features, we expect the update to bring ColorOS 6 features such as the light-weight color theme aka Infinite Design, round icons, new aesthetic wallpapers, animations, Game Boost 2.0 with Touch Boost and Frame Boost, Game Space, Fullscreen Navigation Gestures, Drawer Mode etc.
The Android 10 update for OPPO Reno will be released at the end of October in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Given the planned roll out schedule, the stable Android 10 update for OPPO Reno can’t be too far away.
