Coolpad India has announced that it will be launching a new device in the Country, soon.
The device is called the Coolpad Dazen Note 3.
The phablet was launched in China last week, and garnered a whopping 2.6 million registrations in just 7 days. So, let’s find out why, by taking a look at it’s technical specifications.
The Dazen Note 3 flaunts a 5.5.-inch HD Display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 2GB of RAM. But Varun Sharma, the CEO of Coolpad India, has hinted that the Indian variant of the Dazen Note 3 may be upgraded to 3GB RAM.
The device comes with 16GB of in built storage, and supports expandable memory. The highlight of the phone is that it features a fingerprint scanner, making it one of the most affordable phones to come with this feature.
The phablet sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and auto focus and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. Both cameras come with an CMOS image sensor for high quality photo captures.
The phone is 4G enabled, and is backed by a massive 3,000 mAh battery. The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 will come in two colours: white and black.
The company also reveals that the phone will run on QIKU’s 360 OS, which is reportedly a secure and battery saving OS. The operating system will be released sometime in mid-August, and I think we can expect the Coolpad Dazen Note 3 to be launched with it.
The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 will be priced below Rs. 10,000, and will also be the first smartphone in the price range to feature a fingerprint scanner.
