Coolpad India has started sending Media Invites for an event on May 6 in New Delhi and we expect a Note 3 Plus smartphone launch from the company. At the moment, Coolpad has two smartphones in the Indian smartphone market i.e Note 3 and Note 3 Lite (Read Review). Media invite for the event reads:

With mention of “PLUS” in the tagline of invitation, you can be sure that they are launching a higher version of Coolpad Note 3 which got a price cut of Rs. 500 just yesterday and is now available for a price of Rs. 8,499 only.
Coolpad Note 3 sports a 5.5-inch TFT IPS 720p HD display powered by 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 MT6753 Mediatek Octacore processor with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB internal storage with support for expandable memory up to 64 GB via microsd card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system. In terms of camera it comes with 13 MP main rear camera and 5 MP front shooter. It is backed by a 3000 mAh lithium-ion battery and supports dual SIM (4G + 2G).
