Microsoft has officially announced that it will be bringing its Personal Digital Assistant, Cortana, to Android devices.
The app is similar to Google Now, and Apple Siri, but is widely regarded as one of the best Digital Assistant apps.
Cortana for Android announced:
Cortana for Android, is a companion app which will be able to connect to Windows 10 PCs. But the Android app will not have all the bells and whistles of its Windows Phone counterpart.
The Redmond company says that some features require access to the system settings, and is not possible on Android. Cortana for Android will not be able to toggle settings or open apps initially. The ability to launch Cortana with a voice command “Hey Cortana” will also not be available for Android and iOS.
However, Cortana for Android will include Voice Search, Reminders and more.

Microsoft says that Cortana for Android will be launched in June.
