Cynanogen has officially announced the release of the latest version of its custom Android version, Cyanogenmod 13.0. The ZNH5Y Snapshot updates the base version from Android 6.0.1 r17 to Android 6.0.1 r61.
The major changes in the newest firmware includes support for Lockscreen customization options like the Weather information, Blur option, and guess who has returned, the Lockscreen Wallpaper picker.
The other changes include the latest security patches from Google, and additional profile controls including custom settings for the notification light.
Check out the official announcement for a list of supported devices. The list includes Google’s Nexus, 5, 6, 5X, 6P, Android One devices, the OnePlus One, the Xiaomi Mi 4, to name a few.
Interestingly, the Moto G 1st gen, codenamed falcon is among the list of devices which will get CM 13.0. It’s pretty amazing that a device released 3 years ago, is still being supported by Cyanogenmod. Kudos.
