An upcoming entry-level budget smartphone from Meizu has appeared on Chinese social network Weibo revealing some of the major technical specifications and Antutu Score of the device. The entry-level device from Meizu comes with codename “Meizu M5” and a set of images leaked (four in number) show different screenshots of Antutu benchmark tool.
As per these images, Meizu M5 sports a 720p HD display, powered by Mediatek entry-level Mediatek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz along with Mali-T860 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The device runs on Yun OS 5.1.1 operating system. The design and build quality appears to that of similar entry level devices with plastic body.
In terms of camera, it comes with 13 MP main rear camera, whereas the front shooter for selfies is not indicated in these leaks. The device scores 40,140 on Antutu Benchmark indicating the entry level specifications of the device. We have seen similar Antutu scores for devices powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4xx or SD 610/620 series processors. We do not have any information about the display size or the battery capacity of the device at the moment.
