OnePlus 6T, the successor of OnePlus 6 is expected to officially launch next month on October 17. Thanks to few teasers & official confirmation by the company along with alleged retail box images leaked earlier, we know that the new flagship device may feature an In-display fingerprint sensor similar to what we have seen in Oppo R17 Pro and few other smartphones.
Even though we are still more than a month away from the official launch, Androidpure has received a set of images of OnePlus 6T cases/covers which reveal the design of the phone and confirm the earlier rumours that it may look very similar to Oppo R17 Pro with triple camera module at rear and waterdrop display at front. The case renders reveal no fingerprint sensor module at rear confirming the in-display fingerprint sensor embedded under the display.
One of the case renders also indicate the size of the display as 6.4 inch which is the same size as that of the Oppo R17 Display. The 3.5mm audio jack slot is clearly visible in one of the renders. One of the leather case renders clearly show the triple camera module along with a variable aperture camera.
As we said, rumours indicate that OnePlus 6T may use Oppo R17 Pro as the base device and may turn out to be a clone of Oppo R17 Pro, which has been the case with earlier OnePlus flagship devices using the same design as that of Oppo. The rumours also indicate triple camera at rear with a variable aperture camera (the bottom one out of the three sensors) with variable f/1.5 and the f/2.4 aperture that can be adjusted automatically.
Coming to OnePlus 6 specifications, it features 6.29-inch Optic AMOLED display having Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection with a notch having ~84% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) based operating system with OxygenOS 5.1 on top. It features a dual camera module at rear consisting of 16MP Sony IMX519 primary sensor & secondary 20MP Sony IMX376K sensor while on the front there is a 16MP front-shooter with Sony IMX371 sensor for selfies & video calls. The phone is backed by 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V – 4A)support.
The case renders though are known to be not so accurate. Hence take these images with a grain of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
