A new entry-level smartphone from Oppo i.e. Oppo A7 has leaked in full glory revealing all the press renders, design, promotional material and hardware specifications of the phone. Oppo A7 appears to be a re-branded variant of Realme 2 that was launched last month in India at a price starting at Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant. Oppo A7 has a better front camera of 16MP instead of 8MP in Realme 2.
Oppo A7 sports a 6.2-inch Notch display with HD+ resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 271 PPI, a 19:9 aspect ratio & having a screen to body ratio of 89.35%, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone runs on ColorOS 5.1, which is based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system.
Oppo A7 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor clocked at 1.8GHz along with 3GB/4GB RAM. It comes with 32GB/64GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage up to 256GB with MicroSD card.
In terms of camera, Oppo A7 features a dual camera module at rear consisting of a 13MP and 2MP sensors while on the front, there is a 16MP selfie snapper. The front camera supports AI Beautification 2.0, HDR and bokeh mode. The device supports Face Unlock via the front camera and has a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.
The Oppo A7 is backed by a 4230 mAh battery. It supports dual SIM cards & 4G VoLTE on both slots. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 155.9×75.4×8.1mm and weigh 168g. It will be available in Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue colour options.
