The final Developer Preview of Android P is already out and we are edging closer towards the launch of the next version (final stable build) of the Android operating system. The new Android version launch normally indicate the unveiling of next generation phones from Google i.e Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. We already showed some exclusive photos of Pixel 3 leaked cases yesterday and now, we can show you the Google Pixel 3 XL cases too.
These leaked pictures reveal that the Pixel 3 XL will have a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio (or a modified ratio of 19:9 or similar) but with a notch unlike Pixel 3 and rounded edges. Almost every other Android smartphone brand is coming with a notch display and Google doesn’t want to be left behind.
Pixel 3 XL leaked cases
But let’s focus on the Pixel 3 XL leaked cases here. At the top, we can see the notch with a single front camera with some sensors, though an earlier Bloomberg report talk about dual from cameras insated of one. In our opninion, if Google resisted the temptation or pressure to offer a dual camera at rear, it must have also done the same for front camera and Pixel 3 XL must feature a single camera instead of a dual one. The front-facing stereo speakers are also clearly visible.
The back panel seen (or rather hidden) in the Pixel 3 leaked cases reveal a single rear camera with an LED flash. What? Still no dual cameras, Google? Well, the Pixel 2 didn’t have dual lenses either, but still managed to be a top quality camera phone. So, why change the formula, when Google can weave its camera software magic? The only question that remain is, whether Google will be able to beat everyone else with a single camera this time when copanies like Huawei is already bringing three cameras to its flagship Huawei P20 Pro.
The fingerprint sensor which we can see in the photos of the Pixel 3 XL leaked cases is nothing out of the ordinary. One of the photos of these Pixel 3 leaked cases actually shows that Google is still sticking to the dual colour pattern for the back, with a Black and the matte finish.
We don’t have a launch date for the Pixel 3 XL yet, but rumours have suggested that Google will announce the phone sometime in October.
