Vivo is scheduled to officially launch Vivo V5 Plus smartphone on January 23rd at an event in New Delhi, India. Vivo V5 Plus is an upgrade over existing Vivo V5 (Read Review) and is expected to upgrade the existing 20 MP front camera of V5 by offering a Dual front camera with V5 Plus. We already know that V5 Plus comes with a dual front camera with a 20 MP + 8 MP camera sensors along with moonlight flash. The 20 MP camera sensor is expected to be the same Sony IMX376 with f/2.0 aperture.

Looking at these renders, we can clearly see the dual front camera along with moonlight flash. The design and build of the V5 plus look almost same as V5. But if we look at the bottom side, a USB C type port is visible whereas Vivo V5 comes with a micro USB port. Similarly we can see that the thickness of plus variant is 7.26 mm which is slimmer by at least 0.3 mm compared to V5 which is 7.55 mm thick.
The weight of the device is 158.6 grams which is a slight increase of 4 grams and may indicate slightly bigger battery over 3000 mAh of V5. This matches with earlier rumor that indicate a battery capacity of 3300 mAh with Quick Charge support. At the back, you can see the Antenna lines are seamlessly integrated to the top and bottom end whereas V5 Antenna lines were clearly placed below the camera and at the bottom.
Vivo V5 Plus is rumored to sport a 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display instead of HD display and comes with 4 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of internal storage. It is rumored to be powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system with Funtouch OS on top.
