Bethesda Games, the developer of the popular titles like the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series has just made a huge announcement on Twitter.
The company has officially revealed that Fallout Shelter for Android will be released on August 13th.
The game has been a huge hit, ever since it was released for iOS devices, in June. Android fans were left behind, and one fan questioned the company about a release date, to which the VP of Bethesda, Pete Hines, revealed that the game would be released in August. Though at that time, he hadn’t revealed the exact date of the launch.

The game has already been updated on iOS on more than one occassion, but Bethesda says a huge one is coming soon, and will be released simultaneoulsy for iOS and Android. So we can expect the Android version to be up-to-date with the iOS one.
The new update reportedly adds, the Fallout robot assistant, Mr. Handy, who will be available in the form of an award, and will be able to move around the Vault and collect resources on his own, and also defend the Vault from enemies. Speaking of which, more enemies and attacks are coming to Fallout Shelter including Molerat infestations and Deathclaws which will attack your Vault.
The game will be free-to-play, but is very lenient and can be played without buying in-app purchases. It can also be played offline, which is a huge plus.
