Flipboard is my favorite news reader on my tablet, simply because of the stunning UI with the cool flipping pages, Google reader support.
Despite having some minor hiccups, its still a good reader. And here’s one more reason you’ll love Flipboard.
The new version of flipboard received a rather good feature, you can now save images you see on the pages. this is quite good, because you can capture some of those stunning images and set them as your wallpaper.
All you have to do to save an image is, long-press on it and select “Save Image to Device”. As simple as that. You can find the images from your device’s gallery
The developers also fixed some other issues in the app:
– Now you can select “Save image to device” for any post with an image and it will be saved to your Gallery. Tap and hold on the post, or open the sharing menu to access this option.
– Resolved problem with retweet button
– Install size has been reduced
– More bug fixes
