Fly Mobiles launches three budget Android phones in India

UK based manufacturer Fly Mobiles, has launched three Android smartphones in India.

The devices are incredibly budget friendly phones, and could provide some competition in the entry level market.

The first and best of the three is the Fly Qik+, it sports a 5″ HD IPS Display and is powered by a Mediatek 1.7 GHz Octacore processor, 1GB of RAM, and has a Mali 450 GPU.  It features a 13 Megapixel rear camera with Autofocus, LED flash, and a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded upto 32 GB. It is backed by a 2,200 mAh battery.

The second phone is the Fly Qik. It is also powered by a Mediatek 1.7 GHz Octacore processor, 1GB of RAM, and has a Mali 450 GPU.  The Display is a 4.5″ FWVGA (854*480) IPS. It sports an 8 Megapixel camera on the rear with Autofocus, and LED flash, and a 5 Megapixel front camera. Like it’s bigger brother, it also comes with 8 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded upto 32 GB. It packs a 2,000 mAh battery.

Lastly, the most affordable of the three is the Fly Snap, powered by a 1.3 GHz Quadcore, 512 MB of RAM, and a Mali 400 GPU. It sports a 4″ WVGA (800*480) IPS Display, and comes with 4GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded upto 16 GB. It has a 5 Megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash, and a 2 Megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.

The Qik+ and Qik will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop via an OTA update.All three phones are Dual SIM devices, and support Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, FM Radio, and have Proximity, Light and Gravity sensors.

The Fly phones will be available exclusively at Snapdeal. The Fly Qik+ has been priced at Rs. 6,999, while the Qik is priced at Rs. 5,999 and the Snap will retail for just Rs. 2,999. Additionally the Qik series come with two free Screen Guards.
