Gameloft will be releasing a new multiplayer strategy game, Total Conquest for Android and iOS devices soon.
The game is set in Roman times and will allow you to wage war on other players.
I am a sucker when it comes to strategy games, but I may not play this game for one reason – Social Gaming.
Total conquest looks suspiciously similar to the popular iOS and Facebook game, Clash of Clans. But the graphics do look better on Total conquest.
You can build walls to protect your city and defend it with various troops from the barracks and even use siege weapons such as catapults and ballistas.
Without further ado, here is the official trailer video for Total Conquest:
I wish we could play this game offline too. Recently most of their games have been multiplayer only. And the fact that it is a social game, suggests that this game may be using a freemium model that is common in many of Gameloft’s titles.
Sometimes I wonder if Gameloft read my posts and annoy us by releasing all these teaser trailers and then make us wait till the game hits Google Play. But they have mentioned that this game is coming this summer.
