Gionee has announced a new mid range smartphone, called the Marathon M3.
And unlike most phones, the M3’s best feature is the massive 5,000 mAh battery.
Yes, that is actually bigger than a Nexus 7’s battery. The M3 sports a 5.0”HD, IPS Display, and is powered by a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, and supports an external memory card up to 128 GB. The M3 also supports USB On The Go (OTG), and features reverse OTG charging, which will allow you to use the M3 to charge another phone. It can also transfer data using Hotknot, which allows two phones to exchange photos and videos in an instant as long as the two screens are put together.
It features an 8 Megapixels camera on the rear, and a 2 Megapixels front camera. The Marathon M3 is a Dual SIM phone.
The Gionee Marathon 3 has been priced at Rs. 12999 (MOP).
