Gionee has begun sending out invites for launching its 2015 flagship phone, the Gionee ELIFE E8, in India
The phone was officially launched in June this year, in China.
The ELIFE E8 sports a massive 6.0-inch WQHD Super AMOLED Display, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor (MTK6795) clocked at 2.0GHz, coupled with 3GB RAM.
The phablet runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI on top, and has 64GB of onboard storage, with no support for expandable memory. The ELIFE E8 adorns a 24 Megapixel Rear Camera, capable of taking photos of 120 megapixels resolution, Lossless zoom, even at 3X zoom. The device even comes with a dedicated physical button for the camera. The front camera of the phablet is an 8 megapixel lens, which should please the selfie lovers.
The ELIFE E8 is backed by a 3,250mAh battery, which supports fast charging. The E8 is a Dual SIM phone, which supports 4G LTE on both sim card slots, comes with Dual Speakers (HIFI sound) and also has a fingerprint sensor and NFC support.
The Gionee ELIFE E8 retails at 3,999 Yuan RMB, which translates to about Rs. 41,000. Androidpure will be covering the launch event on October 8th, from New Delhi.
