A new Gionee phone called the has been listed on Chinese telecom regulator website, TENAA. The device appears to be an entry level phone, but with a full metal design.
The phone sports a 5.0-inch 720p HD Display, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop (likely with the Amigo UI). Full Metal Design, 2400mAh Battery. The Gionee GN3002L is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM. The device has 16GB of internal storage, and a memory card slot which supports upto 128GB of expandable storage.
The photo options on the device includes a 13 megapixel rear camera with a single LED Flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. A lone speaker grille can be seen at the bottom of the back panel, which has the Gionee branding just above the speaker, and also present in the centre of the rear panel is the company’s new smiling face logo. The GN3002L has its power and volume rocker keys on its right edge.
The phone is backed by a 2400mAh battery, and weighs at 143g and measures at 145.3×70.5×8.5 mm. Sadly, the phone does not have a fingerprint scanner, which along with its rather low specs, puts it in the entry level segment.
