Gionee continues to drop more teasers about its upcoming devices in the M series, with a new image of the M6 Plus. The phone, which also comes in a smaller variant, the Gionee M6, was touted recently, to come with a built-in security encryption chip.
While we have seen leaks mentioning that the M6 will feature a 5000 mAh battery, which in itself is a monstrous one, it looks like its bigger brother will have more juice.
The Gionee M6 Plus will have a 6020 mAh battery, and yes you read that right. The image, which was posted on Weibo, shows the phone will have a metal body, and its antenna lines. Considering that the M6 weighs about 185g, according to TENAA, it is obvious that the bigger battery on the M6 Plus will make it even more bulkier, perhaps past the 200 gram mark.
Other important features of the phone include a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p AMOLED display, an octa core processor, 4GB of RAM,13MP and 8MP cameras, and a fingerprint scanner.
Gionee will be launching the M6 and the M6 Plus on July 26th, in China.
