Gionee is set to announce its Gionee M7 devices in China on September 25 followed by Thailand on September 28. Just ahead of the official launch, two new models from Gionee has surfaced on Chinese certification agency TENAA. These two models are Gionee M7 and Gionee M7L, revealing all the design details of the device. These TENAA images confirm that Gionee M7 comes with a full-screen bezel-less display with negligible bezels at both sides while narrow bezels at top and bottom. These images also confirm the dual camera module aligned horizontally similar to iPhone 7 Plus.
Even though both these devices look similar in terms of design, yet on comparing them M7L appears to be a bit bigger in terms of size, but we are not so sure. The Gionee branding is visible at the bottom of the front display while the fingerprint sensor is located on the rear back panel. There is no front home button and it may be using the on-screen navigation buttons. At the moment, TENAA has not listed the hardware specifications of the device and we will update you when TENAA lists out the specifications.
Gionee M7 Power has already appeared on benchmarking portal GFXBench which reveals that the phone sports a 6-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution having 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by MediaTek Helio P30 SoC along with 6GB RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) based operating system. In terms of camera, it comes with 16 MP main rear camera with support for 4K (UHD) video recording while on the front, it features an 8 MP front shooter for selfies & video calls.
