Entry level Gionee P5W is listed on Gionee official website even though no official announcement is made about the launch. From the specifications though, it appears to be an entry-level smartphone targeted towards customers who can’t afford mid range devices.
Gionee P5W sports a 5 inch HD IPS oncell display and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 1 GB of RAM.
It comes with 16 GB internal storage along with support for expandable memory with MicroSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system. It supports Dual SIM.
It comes with 5 MP rear camera with LED Flash and 2 MP front-facing camera. It has dimensions of 143.3 mm x 72 mm x 8.9 mm and weighs 153 g. In terms of connectivity, it supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 but no 4G LTE support. The device is powered by a decent 2000 mAh battery.
It comes in White, Blue, Red,Yellow and Black colors. There is no official information about its price, but looking at the specifications we can safely assume it to be in the entry-level pricing of smartphones.
