Gionee had announced the Gionee S9 just few months back in November and its successor i.e. Gionee S10 seems to be already on the way to be launched officially soon thanks to its Chinese certification portal TENAA listing revealing all the technical specifications, design and renders of the device.
As per TENAA listing, Gionee S10 sports a 5.5 inch 1080p Full HD display and is powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor along with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system.
In terms of camera, it comes with a 13 MP dual camera module at the back along with support for full HD 1080p video recording and another 16 MP front shooter for selfies. The phone is backed by a battery of 3700 mAh. In terms of dimensions, it measures 154.5 × 76 × 7.6 (mm) and weighs 176.6 grams. In terms of connectivity options, the phone includes support for Bluetooth, WiFi and 4G LTE along with VOLTE. The phone will be available in Gold and Black color options. The front Home button must have the fingerprint sensor integrated though it is not mentioned on TENAA listing.
Existing Gionee S9 sports a 5.5 inch 1080p Full HD, 2.5D curved glass, powered by 2.0 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor and 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Amigo OS 3.2 on top. It also features dual rear cameras(13 MP + 5 MP) with dual-tone LED flash and 13 MP front-shooter for selfies. It is 7.4 mm thick and weighs 168 grams. It is backed by a battery of 3,000 mAh. It comes with Hybrid dual sim slot and fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE along with VOLTE.
