Google has updated its Gmail App for Android to add support for a new feature called, All Inboxes.
This will let you view emails from all your accounts that have been logged in to the Gmail app.
Yes, this will even work with third party services like Yahoo Mail, Outlook, etc. You still have to swipe and tap on All Inboxes to read the mails. But, if you have 2 or more accounts which get a lot of emails, this will definitely be a time saver.
Conversation View:
Google has enabled Threaded Conversations for all email accounts, including IMAP/POP accounts like Yahoo, Outlook. Prior to this only Gmail used to have this feature.
Smarter Search:
The Gmail App now has smarter search with better auto-complete and faster results.
Apart from these, Google has added a few minor tweaks such as more responsive animations while navigating to different tabs/screens, larger attachment previews, and save to Drive option.
The updated Gmail app will be rolled out to all users in the coming days, so keep an eye on the Play Store App.
