Google has updated its clock app to version 4.2, and it brings in a few nice features.
The most notable feature in this update, is the support for Gradual Alarm Volume, which increases the volume as the alarm begins to ring for a longer time, this option is also available for timers.
Google Clock 4.2 also adds a Transparent Navigation Bar, on devices which support the feature. The menu icon is now accessible from every screen of the app, prior to this update it was only available from the main screen.
You can also have a separate ringtone for timers and a different one for alarms.
The option to add an “Automatic home clock” has been changed from a check mark to a toggle button.
The Google Clock 4.2 update is not yet available at the Play Store, so you can download it from APK Mirror.
