Google has launched a standalone PDF viewer app for Android devices.
Though the Google Drive app can already view PDFs, not everyone uses the app, or may not be allowed to use it at work. Hence, the new Google PDF viewer was launched.
You can use the app to view, print, search and copy text from PDF files.
Oddly enough, you cannot open the app from the Play Store app. In fact, it does not appear on the App Drawer either. The only way to use it is by using a File manager app to navigate to the location of a PDF file, and tapping on it. if you have more than one app which can read PDFs, you will be prompted to choose an app to open the file, select PDF Viewer and you are good to go.
Download Google PDF Viewer from the Play Store.

It is less than 5MB in size, and should work on all devices running on Android 4.0 or above.
