Google has updated its cloud storage app, Google Drive for Android, which now stores all the photos and videos you shared on Google+.
This will act like a kind of backup for your media files, and should come in quite handy.
The Google Drive app has a new menu item, called Photos from where you will be able to view and manage your photos and videos, as well as all your other files. All new pictures will be immediately available in your Google Drive’s Photos folder, while your full library will be available in a few weeks.
The update is being rolled out now, and may take a while to reach out to all users.
