Google is set to officially unveil the second generation of Pixel devices tomorrow. Yet just ahead of the official launch tomorrow, the famous leaker Evan Blass has released the press renders of Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Both Google Pixel 2 and PIxel 2 XL are rumoured to come with almost same hardware specifications except the Display.
Google Pixel 2 XL sports a 6.0-inch, QHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with negligible bezels yet not the true edge-to-edge device, though similar to what we have seen from many flagship devices such as Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6 etc. Whereas, Google Pixel 2 sports a smaller 5.0 inch Full HD 1080p display with the conventional aspect ratio of 16:9. While Pixel 2 XL is manufactured by LG, the smaller variant i.e. Pixel 2 is manufactured by HTC.
Both Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2 are rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 along with 4 GB of RAM. Both the devices run on the latest Android operating system i.e. Android 8.0 (Oreo). In terms of camera, rumours indicate 12-megapixel primary main rear cameras along with front-firing stereo speakers. Earlier rumours indicate that there is no 3.5mm headphone jack, while features such as always-on display and squeezable frame are there.
Pixel 2 is rumoured to come with colour options such as Kinda Blue, Just Black, and Clearly White while Pixel 2 may come in Black & White and Black colour options. In terms of pricing, rumours suggest $649 (~Rs. 42,500) for the 64GB variant and $749 (~Rs. 49,200) for the 128GB variant, whereas Pixel 2XL may be priced at $849 (~Rs. 55,800 approx.) for the 64GB variant and $949 (~Rs. 62,000) for the 128GB storage variant.
