Google is set to announce the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones at an event on October 4 which is just 2 days away. We already have seen numerous leaks and rumors around the Pixel devices including alleged Renders, hardware specifications and case renders. Today just ahead of the official launch, a dummy pre-order page on Bell Canada lists the device for pre-order, which includes a form to be filled up and a render image of Google Pixel.
Bell Canada has two pre-order listing pages (via) (and second one here too), but unfortunately both pages doesn’t reveal anything about technical specifications of Google Pixel except the Google Pixel Render image. You will note that the URL of the page is for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and Apple iPhone 7 preorder, perhaps to hide it till official launch. Interestingly the order page lists Google Pixel as “Phone by Google, for your business” which indicates that Google may be targeting business users with the new smartphones.
Based on earlier leaks and rumors, Google Pixel is expected to feature a 5-inch AMOLED 2K display, powered a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM. In terms of camera, it may come with a 12 MP rear camera with 4K recording support and 8 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 2770 mAh battery.
As we say with each leak, take this leak with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
